Sometimes brought on by medications and at other times, just to keep her mouth lubricated to sing and speak, Lulu is obsessed with Smart Mouth dry mouth mints.

Alison is obsessed with bowls of food! Any kinds and all kinds! Nothing is more exciting than partaking of a bowl of something yummy!

Lulu’s wish this week is pretty specific and what I like to call the “Please invent this for us” category. She longs for Swiss Army Wedges, as she calls them. It would be a pair of wedge shoes that has pockets to carry something utilitarian, like pepper spray, perhaps. She may be in luck with Winter Fashion Wedge that I found online.

Lulu points out to Alison that what she does to keep ear wax away is not recommended for anyone who wasn’t raised in an Asian family. But, Alison wishes for what she calls an “ear wax remover thingy.” Here’s an option on Wish!

What a great honor it is that Lulu dedicated this week to her mother, Dinty’s home town of Baguio City, Philippines! She came upon this idea since the sapphire is the birthstone of her Mom, so she decided to bring her Mom along! Hiring a driver from her Dad’s personal experience and advice, they stayed at the Kamiseta Hotel where every room is different, and a blend between modern and traditional with really bright colors. It also included a yummy breakfast of tapsilog, one of Lulu’s favs and they also picked up some cinnamon rolls at the Cinnamon Bakeshop.

They also went to the very best location recommended to get some Strawberry Taho, which is a special treat Lulu remembers getting when the vendors would come outside yelling, ‘Taho! Taho!.’ They would bring their own glasses out to be filled with soft tofu, brown sugar syrup and tapioca/boba balls.

Next stop was Baguio Craft Brewery that doesn’t seem to have a website, so Lulu decided to spend the almost $4000 it costs to purchase the domain for them. After some fabulous ‘imbibation’ (I made that word up!), they went for a tour of the BenCab Museum. Not wanting to insult any of her relatives with any random choice of a place for dinner, Lulu decided to allot $500 for dinner at a combination of locations relatives would recommend. Ata girl, Hufflepuff!

To close a great day with her Mom, they went to the ukay-ukay stalls for some late night thrifting! They both love haggling (I hate it!) and that closed out their 10K day!

Alison chose to stay at The Ranch at Rock Creek for her 10K trip to Rock Creek, Montana. Now, mind you…Montana may seem like it would be cheap, but a LOT of celebs have relocated there, so her stay in the Classic Canvas Cabin cost her almost 2/3 of her 10K budget! Luckily for her it was all-inclusive, where they say the food’s “Preparation is equal parts mountain tradition and modern palate, often employing a wood fire grill, a Dutch oven or the full array of a state-of-the-art kitchen.” She opted for the Sapphire Range Frittata made with Bacon and Gouda Frittata with Tomatoes and Avocado. Count me in!

Rock Creek is one of Montana’s finest trout streams, especially for wade anglers, so Alison booked full day float trip from Montana Fly Fishing Guide. The price includes: use of boat rods and reels, all flies, tippet, pickup and drop-off, shuttles, all day guide services and shore side lunch, but doesn’t include the Montana fishing license.

Now, the reason she chose this city is she found the mining option at the ranch when she searched for Sapphire! They say it “this may just be the dirtiest, good, clean fun you’ll ever have.” And that had her hooked! There she got to mine for her own gems, learned about and wanted to buy a heated sapphire but decided to heat it herself with a Tabletop Hi-Temp 2200 Degree Electric Burnout Oven Kiln Vent Hole PROGRAMMABLE Controller Furnace Jewelry Making Dental Cast Wax 3D Resin PLA Burnout. And that, my friends…was the end of her dirty mining day in Montana!

Once again, these besties have a similar Happy for the week. While Lulu is happy about Automated Subscription Cancellation Texts, Alison is happy for Customer service accessibility via text.
