We now have a website for our web series, Live from [Blank]! Check out our latest episode from Kansas, Missouri, and follow along! And if you’re up for a great laugh, watch Lulu and Alison on their Curateur Unboxing video.

We have a new segment COMING SOON! So, keep an eye out for it on our YouTube channel!

Alison’s cousin, Ashley recommended Bare Faced products for her facial care, so Alison took the Face Quiz! She decided to try out their retinol crème and she thinks it feels like magic…silky smooth! After 3 days of using it, she feels like her face has never looked better! Let’s check in on her in 6 weeks and see if we even recognize her!

No surprise here, as I saw in LIVE on FaceTime…Lulu’s obsessed with Flaming hot Cheetos! Yup! I saw it! Her fingers were bright red! But, most of all, I’m obsessed with the roundabout way she asked Alison to pick some up for her before they taped an episode and rehearsed their cabaret!

Alison recently had to bring some wardrobe for a gig and needed to make extra holes in the belts she brought. So, as she expressed her ‘wish’ for a tool to make new belt holes…Lulu enlightened her with the invention of the awl.

Our night owl, Lulu longs for an app or service that would queue texts to send or schedule the texts she thinks to text someone in the middle of the night.

Lulu began her stay at the Williamsburg Inn where she stayed in the Queen’s Room. The room was named in honor of Queen Elizabeth II as she and Prince Philip will forever be identified with the Williamsburg Inn. The royal couple visited in 1957, and again in 2007, to honor the 400th anniversary of the settlement at Jamestown. Water under the proverbial bridge, as they say!

Since there are so may pancake places in town, Lulu asked the concierge to direct her to the best pancake joint but she decided to try them all! And after breakfast, she felt like it was time to ‘dress’ for Colonialtown, so she donned her 18th century Marie Antoinette gown and custom shoes! As she was dressed for a special occasion, it only seemed fitting that she attend the The Actors’ Lament: or the Really Rotten Luck of the Fledgling Theatre Company’s performance! There is no one more ‘in the know’ about what actors need in such situations, so she got the actors and crew some wonderful treats:

Graether’s Pastilles- to wet their pipes for all the hours of performance

Anytime Fitness- to keep in shape for the grueling performance schedule

Nexcare Absolute Waterproof tape - the best mic tape that Lulu has ever found!

Butter Me Up organic sunscreen for all that outdoor acting

Every actor and crew member needs to eat, so Lulu got them all their own Original Soup man subscription and each a Hot Logic mini portable oven for the perfect green room fixture. As magnanimous as she is, Lulu took the entire cast and crew to the King’s Arms Tavern for a great meal!

After all that ‘taking care of’ the cast, Lulu needed a spa treatment to take care of herself! Then dinner was in order at Fat Canary for a smorgasbord of oysters, Arugula salad, Heritage breed pork chop, goat cheese bread pudding, golden apple sauce, grilled onion, cheese plate, macadamia nut pie & a Bottle of Dom 2006.

To close out her night, she took the Haunted Williamsburg Tour.

Only best friends can choose similar 10K days!! Alison chose another historical city in America this week. And she began her stay in Plymouth, Massachusetts at the Mirabeau Inn with its 50 guest room spa retreat combining the amenities of a gracious French manor house, a world-class spa, and casually elegant dining, all with the elegant comforts and residential feel of a private estate. - clustered around the sumptuous Monet pond gardens, with exterior architecture, interior décor and landscape design reminiscent of an estate in the countryside near Paris.

Much to Lulu’s (and mine) chagrin, Alison ‘added on’ an exotic milk ritual spa treatment that fitted her in a cocoon-like wrap. (makes my stomach go woogledy!!) Then after a milky start to her day, she had breakfast at the Blue Muffin, which, oddly enough, had no blueberry muffins and frankly, no muffins at all! So, she opted for the Blueberry Cake French Toast and coffee.

Now, this is my favorite part of her day and on my personal bucket list! Alison went cranberry boggin’!! She went to Benson’s Pond, where she opted for the Cranberry bogger for the day experience! And after such a fulfilling day of gathering cranberries, she headed to 42 Degrees North for dinner!

Now for the spooky part of Alison’s trip! Get this…she decided to go to the Spooner House (1749) and don’tcha know…the house was built for the widow, Hannah Jackson! That just happens to be her very own daughter’s name! Spooookyyy! But, the really spooky part is that Abigail Spooner, another inhabitant of the house, died of a tooth infection and now haunts the house, moving objects and she will stand at the end of your bed, rustle bushes and peer through windows.

My favorite part of this trip is Alison’s 10K Math! Listen for her ‘calculations’ of what the 2011 tour costs would be now in 2021!

Ghost Tour: 10K Math---$30 in 2011, $3000 in 2021---- I love 10K Math!

After a good scare, it was time for dinner and a Plymouth Cruise with Mamma Mia Catering for all the cast, crew and their families! IATSE, our 10k ladies got your backs!
